Still Life and landscape, Oils and water color
The below water colors were just recently painted and the final details were not completed as a norm, I shall post the finished ones hopefully within the next few days with the others. These are all painted plein-air.
It is always best to paint from life when possible. Today as in past artist use technology. Caravaggio used mirrors more than likely and Van Eyck used lens and mirrors, he left clews all over his paintings and probably giggled at how people could not figure it out. It still took great mastery to do what he did regardless.. Photos then to trap us into unnecessary details but they can definitely be a useful tool.
I apologize, the photography is poor. I'm not a photographer. I sometimes get reflection and glare in the photographs but I shall have them photographed better in future.
